+ HOW DO I JOIN WASTEPLACE AS A HAULER?
Joining wasteplace as a hauler is easy. Click JOIN at the top of the page, and answer a few quick questions about your products and services. Wasteplace will use this information to send you quote requests from customers in your service area.
+ HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK FOR CUSTOMERS?
After a customer requests a quote and accepts a bid proposed by our haulers, he or she can submit paymemnt via credit card or their paypal account. Similar to other application services like Uber, we ask for confirmation of payment so that we know that the funding source is authorized. The money is held in escrow, until your job order is completed. Should you cancel your job, the money will be returned ASAP. Payment must be received via any of our acceptable payment options prior to the service being scheduled or completed.
+ HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK FOR HAULERS?
Haulers are paid via ACH direct deposit. Wasteplace will track each hauler's completed jobs and send out a net payment with our service fee deducted. Haulers are expected to email wasteplace at email@example.com a net bill after each completed service. Please see our terms and conditions for more details. The customer's payment is held by wasteplace when the bid is accepted and is transferred after the job has been completed. This guarantees you get paid on time! If a hauler continuously fails to provide the service agreed on by the customer, that hauler will be removed from our vendor list until the problem is resolved.
+ HOW LONG IS MY QUOTE REQUEST ACTIVELY RECEIVING BIDS?
Wasteplace posts your job request for a period of 60 days on our marketplace. Jobs will automatically expire after 60 days if a customer has not selected a winning hauler. However, our customers will start receiving bids within 24 hours after requesting a quote. If the project is of an urgent nature (SAME DAY) email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will do our very best to ensure you get bids in a timely manner.
+ HOW DO I CHANGE MY CONTACT INFORMATION?
To update your wasteplace contact information, log into your account, and visit your account page. You may also email email@example.com or click the contact support button at the bottom of each page.
+ HOW DO I CANCEL A SERVICE?
Customer: As a wasteplace customer you have the ability to cancel any temporary service transaction up until you pay your bill and route funds through wasteplace.com. This includes junk removal, and dumpster rentals. Recurring services are contracted and can be cancelled at the end of your agreed term.
Hauler: After bidding on a project you are obligated to complete the job within the service and pricing guidelines you submitted to wasteplace. Multiple defaults will be handled on a case-by-case basis and could affect your approved vendor status.
+ WHAT ARE THE TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CUSTOMERS?
Wasteplace is not a material management service provider or hauler. Our website acts as a marketplace where haulers and customers come together to fulfill their waste and recycling needs. As a result, wasteplace has no control over quality, safety, or legal aspects of the transaction. Customers across the United States will still adhere to terms and conditions set forth by their chosen waste and recycling hauler which includes but is not limited to; indemnification, collections, rate adjustments, service fees, waste material, equipment quality, and ownership changes.
